Take the Initiative! By joining and fundraising for the Charlotte LUNGe Forward, you’ll be helping to make a change for all those affected by lung cancer in North Carolina. Together, there’s always something we can do! The top three individual fundraisers and top ten fundraising teams will be acknowledged on event day. Fundraising will remain open through the end of the year. All pre-registrants are guaranteed an event T-Shirt. There will be a limited quantity of shirts available for those who register on event day. There will be awards given, for the following categories, in both male and female as well as men’s and women’s best overall: 11 & younger, 12-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70-75, 75-80, 80+. Outlaw Showdown

Dirt will fly when the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series takes on The Dirt Track at Charlotte on May 26th for the Outlaw Showdown. Drivers will compete for prize money and prestige in winged, 850-horsepower open-wheel, sprint cars on the lightning-fast, four-tenths-mile clay oval. The undercard features the South Eastern Crate Association features regional racers competing in equally powered late model race cars in the series’ biggest event of the year. Last year’s winner, Trent Ivey from Union, South Carolina, is likely to defend his title against racers like Mount Airy, North Carolina’s Ryan Atkins, Concord, North Carolina’s Matt Long and others from around the southeast.
